RepliKating (or Replicating Any Other Royal's Style) On A Budget

Royals. We all know they have a LOT of money. This means they can buy a bunch of pretty clothes. These pretty clothes are often also EXPENSIVE.

I am going to show you my ideas for - well, the title sums it up.

Bargain Stores

T.J. Maxx (or T.K. Maxx in the UK) has a lot of marked down designer clothing and furniture, for whatever reason, maybe it's out of season or has a minor issue. You can get a lot of really fancy RepliKates there for pretty cheap, especially when the store is on sale on top of that! I got a couple of Philosophy body washes (one in Charlotte, North Carolina, and one in Chicago at the Michigan Avenue store) for less than 10 dollars. T.J. Maxx is partnered with the stores Marshalls and HomeGoods, so those are also really good places for RepliKating clothing, accessories, and furniture. I got a swimsuit at Marshalls on an emergency in North Carolina, and loved it so much, I decided to keep it along with my main swimsuit!

Goodwill and Consignment

If you go to Goodwill, you can find clothes and such for less than 10 dollars usually, no matter the brand. I get a lot of my clothes from Goodwill, including khakis for school and parts of Halloween costumes. You can also go to consignment sales, where prices may vary quite a bit, but you can still get great things. Go to yard sales and flea markets, too, you never know what you might find!

Walmart

Yes, yes, I know, Walmart is a grocery store. But they also carry great clothing brands, and online they carry designer purses and other things. Go to the clothing section next time you're in Walmart and see what you can find!

Anywhere!

You can really find great things anywhere you shop for clothes and accessories!

In conclusion, don't be picky about where you shop for RepliKates or clothing inspired by a royal. Many RepliKate blogs just show options that can still be fairly pricey, even if they are cheaper than what the Duchess wears.

Sincerely, Me (HRH Princess Norah of Suburbia)
